Debbie Hansford - RCH
Level 3 Certificate in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals
Debbie founded New Forest K9 Hydrotherapy after working as a hydrotherapist for three years. With a previous background in administration, book-keeping and office management, Debbie decided it was time for a change and was inspired after taking one of her own dogs to hydrotherapy. Debbie completed her Level 3 qualification at Greyfriars Rehabilitation and Hydrotherapy Centre, with the ultimate goal of opening her own hydrotherapy centre.
Debbie currently owns three Catalan Sheepdogs; Ruby, Morgon and Brenna, who compete in breed showing. All three dogs have done well in the show ring, winning several Best of Breeds (at open and championship shows) and Groups (at open show level). Swimming regularly has the huge benefit of improving our dogs body condition and fitness, and our dogs absolutely love it! It’s a struggle to keep them out of the pool!
